UK to be tobacco free by 2035..
July 8, 2008 - A report launched at the British Medical Association conference in Edinburgh called for a range of measures to rid United Kingdom of smoking.
The major emphasis throughout was concerned with protecting young people, the future leaders, from the ravages of nicotine addiction and to promote a tobacco-free lifestyle.
During this time British Government's Dept of Health has released a consultation paper entitled, The Future of Tobacco Control to trigger a 12-week national debate.
